Rose A. Brady

Lakewood - Rose A. Brady, nee Bigley, age 96 of Lakewood passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. Rose was born in Hoboken and lived in Netcong for many years before retiring to Original Leisure Village in Lakewood.

Rose was employed at the Morris County Clerk's Office in Morristown before retiring in 1986. She enjoyed retirement and was quite active in her community. She was a member of the St. Michael's Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters.

Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ernest M. Brady, her granddaughter, Michele Saber Moore and her son-in-law, David Gladis. She was also predeceased by her mother and father, Bernard and Mary Bigley and by her brothers and sisters, Mary, Joseph, Helen Bigley Horan, Bernard and John.

Rose was a devout and loving mother to her four daughters; surviving Rose are Patricia R. Swistak and her husband, Wayne, Maryann Gladis, Audrey J. Ulland and her husband, Aage and Helen M. Saber and her husband, Donald.

Rose has eight grandchildren, Laura, Michael, Stacy, A. Jeffrey, Amy, Heather, Beth and Megan in addition to 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, all of whom Rose loved dearly

Relative and friends are invited to visit on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Morgan Funeral Home in Netcong. A funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Michael's Church in Netcong. The interment will follow at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Stanhope.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Association, P.O. Box 37022, Boone, IA 50037-0022, would be appreciated by her family.
