She was predeceased by her parents Leo and Maria Malavasi. Bina lived in West New York before moving to Toms River, New Jersey in 2011. She was a Claims Executive for Otterstedt Insurance Company in Englewood Cliffs, NJ for 33 years. Bina was a talented painter, and an avid collector of curiosities, art and books. She was passionate about children's literature which she shared and passed down to the special children in her life who loved her so dearly. She was magical to her "adopted" grandchildren and it gave her true joy sharing with them her love of storytelling and classic toys.

She leaves behind her loving family: Cania Kaiser of Mount Laurel, NJ. Nicole and Joshua Leonard and their children Rosemary and Abigail of Cinnaminson, NJ. Kimberly and Wei Huang and their children Sydney and Samantha of Piscataway, NJ. "Tina" Patricia Petrillo and Ronald Dollin of Somers Point, NJ. John and Marissa Petrillo and their children Amelie, Johnny, Loukia and Cosima of Roosevelt,NJ. Joseph and Aimee Petrillo of Red Bank, NJ.

To know her was to love her. She will truly be missed.

Visitation will be held Tuesday 9:00am - 11:00am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd, Toms River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. Entombment will take place in Fairview Mausoleum.
