Brick - Rose Daley, 85, of Brick, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2018. Rose was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on February 11, 1933. She was an Honors graduate of Battin High School class of 1951. She then went on to work for St. Elizabeth Hospital and Lumerit pocket book Co in Perth Amboy as a secretary. After marriage Rose started her family in Linden and then raised her family in Lincroft for 35 years. Rose was loved by all for her generous heart, quick wit, and her delicious Italian cooking. She was known for her wonderful Christmas Eve feasts, her family Sunday dinners, and her legendary meatballs.

Rose was predeceased by her father Anthony Ferraina and her Mother Mary Rago, her step-father Nicholas Rago, her brother Orlando Ferraina, her sister Concetta Dillman,and her brother Frank Farraina. She was the former daughter in in law of Rose Pahler, and the loving companion of the late Bud Lovett for 16yrs . Rose is survived by her loving children George Daley and his wife Dawn, Barbara Pellegrinelli and her husband David, Susan Hansen and her husband Neal, and Michael Daley and his wife Julie. She is also the former wife of George Daley Sr. who stuck by her side thru all her illness. Rose is also the former mother in law to Barbara Correnti. She is survived by her 10 beloved grandchildren Christine, Tara, Melissa, Michael, Christopher, Kevin, George, Jonathan, Ellis, and Hannah. Rose also was also blessed with 9 Great-Grandchildren and bonus grandchildren Michael and Daniella.

Rose will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt 35 Middletown, New Jersey 07748. On Sunday August 12, 2018 from 4-8pm Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Church of the Nativity 180 Ridge Road Fair Haven, New Jersey 07704 on Monday morning at 11am.
