Rudolph Frederick Rinderer, 95, of Bayville, died on November 24, 2016. Rudy was born in Irvington and raised in Union. Rudy was a Member of the first graduating class of St. Michael's Elementary School and later a graduate of St. Benedict's Preparatory School, both in Newark. Before graduating as a Civil Engineer from Newark College of Engineering, Rudy earned his pilot's license as a member of the Civil Air patrol. Following college, Rudy served in the US Army Air Force during World War II before starting his lifetime career as a custom homebuilder. Rudy married his loving wife Margaret Nitsch in 1949 and later moved to Pine beach in 1958 to raise their family. He moved to Bayville in 1987.

Rudy was predeceased by Margaret in 1998 and is survived by his children; Rudy Jr. and his wife Sandy, James and his wife Karen, Susan Harnos and her husband Peter, Jayne Rinderer and Robert and his wife Michelle. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, as well as his brother William, his sister M. Elizabeth Rieur, and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Riethoff.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 30th, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 130 Cable Avenue, Beachwood, NJ 08722 at 10am. The Funeral Service will begin at 11am. Burial will follow at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ, at 1:30pm Chapel time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rudy's memory to: Bayville First Aid Squad 13, (, would be appreciated. Mastapeter Funeral Home, Bayville is in charge of arrangements.
