Rudolph J. Pinto, 90, of Edison died on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at The Mary Anne Hale Pavilion of Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Iselin before moving to Edison 57 years ago. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran of World War II and a Life Member of VFW Post 2636 in Iselin, a Life Member of The National Association of Atomic Veterans, a Life Member of The Disabled American Veterans, and a Life Member of The Second Marine Division Association. Rudolph was a plumber and member of Plumbers Local 24.

His wife Olive M. (nee Sadddler) died in 2005, a brother Thomas Pinto Sr., two sisters Eleanor Quinto and Mary Goldstein are also deceased. Surviving are two daughters Joy Lehrer and Barbara Pinto-Boyle and her husband Richard; a sister Madeline Caravella; a brother-in-law Frank Quinto; two grandchildren Alexander and Elia.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 9:45 AM from the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT 27) Metuchen, followed by a 10:15 AM Mass of The Resurrection at St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral, Metuchen, interment will follow at St. James Cemetery in Woodbridge.
