AGE: 90 • Toms River

Rudolph L Moser III 90 of Toms River died Monday August 7, 2017 at home. Born in Newton, he resided in Madison Park Development in Old Bridge from 1955-1987 then Lakewood for 27 years before moving to Toms River 2 years ago. He worked for New York Telephone for 27 years as a Telephone Installer before retiring in 1975. He served in the Army during WWII from 1945-1947. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, a lifetime and founding member of the Madison Park First Aid and coached Pop Warner & Little League for Madison Park. He played on the Original Leisure Village Golf League and was a Civil War enthusiast. He was an avid sports fan for the Chicago Cubs, New York Rangers and Notre Dame Football. Surviving are his sons & daughters-in-law, Michael T & Mirian of Perth Amboy, Paul & Beverly and Robert & Teresa both of Toms River, daughter, Kathleen & her husband Jerrol Hillblom of Manahawkin, 11 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kevin, Daniel, Christopher, Bryan, Matthew, Bobby, Andrew, Caitlyn, Megan and Katie and 5 great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Reagan, Arya, Braylen and Brody. Visitation is Thursday 4-8 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Friday 10:30 AM at St Luke Church, Toms River with entombment to follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
