Toms River - Sally Daly 90 of Toms River died Friday, November 30, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Newark, she lived in Kenilworth for 35 years before moving to Toms River 24 years ago. She was a stay at home mom until her children were both in High School after which she took a part time position at Haynes Department Store, Westfield. She was a parishioner of St Theresa's Catholic Church, Kenilworth and was very active in the Parish Rosary-Altar Society. While residing in Kenilworth, in the spare time she didn't have, she volunteered for St. Theresa's School and The Center for Hope Hospice. She continued her volunteering in Toms River at Kimball Medical Center. She is predeceased by her son Joseph Daly III who died in 2005, and by her husband, Joseph Daly Jr who died in 2006. She was the youngest of 11 children and predeceased by 9 siblings and her parents. Surviving is her daughter, Debbie Daly and her partner Sally of Yardley, PA and their boys, Derek and Dominic Stanzione, along with many wonderful nieces and nephews with a special thanks going to Joyce Donovan and Joan Frangione for all their support. Eulogy to be given by John (Johnny boy) Santucci. Funeral Liturgy is Friday at 12 PM at St Mary of the Lake Church, Lakewood with interment to follow at the Brigadier Gen William C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or go to your local church and light a candle for her.
