It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra Schneider announces her passing after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the age of 72 years.

Born in raised in Becket, Mass., Sandra was the third oldest of 9 children.

Sandra graduated from Wahconah Regional High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1965.

She received her BA from South New Hampshire University and held various jobs with the City of Hartford, CT, AT&T Labs in Middletown, NJ and Project Manager at Fort Monmouth, NJ.

Sandra moved to Toms River in 2003 after living in many states. She was an avid NASCAR fan who loved cars, Judge Judy, Disney World, Hawaii, and the New England Patriots.

She was predeceased by her parents, Wilson and Frances Broga (nee Deveno), and brother Wilson Broga, Jr.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles Schneider, sister Patricia Wheeler and her husband Lee Wheeler, brother Thomas Broga & 2 daughters Emily & Holly, brother Wayne Broga, his wife Tammy, daughter Megan, son Wayne, Jr., sister Sarah Jane Brown, sister Debbie Broga, brother James Broga, daughters Tanya & Carrie, brother Larry Broga, sister in law Joyce Thornton and her husband Karl, Brother in law Robert Schneider and his wife Caryn, daughters Shannon & Susanne and dearest friends Eliane Gebhart.

A memorial gathering will be offered Wednesday 6:00pm - 9:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday 10:00am at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River. Interment to follow at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
