Sarah M. Swope

Brick - Sarah M. Swope, age 102, passed away on April 2, 2021 at Willow Springs Nursing and Rehab Center, Brick. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ and has lived in Brick since 1958. Sarah owned and operated Yarn Kraft in Brick for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence.

Surviving Sarah are her daughter Mary La Mastra and her husband Armando; grandchildren, Kevin, and his wife Areti La Mastra, Lisa La Mastra, Cara Dale and her husband William and Michael La Mastra and his wife Kellie Miller; 5 great-grandchildren, Lena, Armando, Will, Liam and, Colin; her sister Mary Kobasa; she is also survived by her niece Patricia Kobasa and nephew Peter Kobasa and his family.

A viewing for Sarah will be held on Wednesday from 10 am to 12 pm at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road Brick, NJ 08723. A funeral home service will be celebrated at 11:30 am. Cremation will be private.
