AGE: 75 • Keansburg

Stanley Carl Luscz, affectionately known as Stash, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Stash was born in Passaic, NJ and was raised in Keansburg, NJ and was a 1960 graduate of Middletown High School.

Stanley enlisted in the US Army and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving for 3 years. He also managed the family business, Kay & Ted's Tavern in Keansburg for a few years, before moving to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, where he spent 10 years helping his brother Ted with his bar and restaurant businesses. In his later life, Stash pursued his favorite hobbies - fishing and hunting, teaching a hunter education course and he loved hanging out with his pals on the bay.

Stanley is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Heppel, four grandchildren, Heather Heppel, Michael Heppel, George Wingender and Kelly Wingender, two great grandchildren, Hailey and Michael Watson, his brother Ted Luscz, sister-in-law Rebecca Luscz, nephew Andrew Luscz and niece, Emily Luscz and too many friends and family to mention.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Friday from 11 - 12 noon at Posten's Funeral Home, 59 E. Lincoln Ave. at Central and E. Garfield Ave. Atlantic Highlands, NJ. The family requests that everyone attending come in casual, tropical attire. All further services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations would be preferred to the Associated Humane Societies of NJ, 2960 Shafto Rd., Tinton Falls, NJ 07753.
