Stanley Rzempoluch

AGE: 93 • Chandler, AZ

Stanley Rzempoluch, 93, of Chandler, Arizona, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2017.

Stanley was born in Guttenberg, New Jersey, the son of Polish immigrants. He and his wife Margaret (nee Anacker) lived most of their lives in New Jersey and moved to Arizona in 2015. Stanley was a World War II veteran who proudly served in the Pacific. Stanley worked at Colgate-Palmolive in Jersey city, New Jersey and proudly enjoyed his retirement, which lasted longer than the 30 years he worked there. Always an active member of the VFW and B.P.O.E. Elks in both in Toms River, New Jersey and Chandler, Arizona. Known as "Stan the Beer Can Man", Stanley loved crafts and was known for creating aluminum beer can art. He also handcrafted more than 6000 American flag magnets which were shared with people in every US state, including in the Obama White House. He intended these flags to serve as a reminder of the great sacrifices by our military for our freedom.

Stanley's wife Margaret passed away in 2015 after 68 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughter Carol (Alan) Prellberg, daughter Donna King, son Roger (Debbie) Rzempoluch, granddaughter Beth Prellberg (Carolyn Marosy), granddaughter Lauren (Richard) Truszkowski and grandson Eric (Jennifer) Rzempoluch and four great-grandchildren. Stanley loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Polish Power!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stanley's honor to the Disabled American Veterans (
