AGE: 61 • Brick

Theodore F. Chupein III, age 61, of Brick, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he grew up in Vineland and moved to Brick in 1980. He worked as a civilian for the US Army at Ft. Monmouth for 30 years prior to his retirement. Since 2010 he worked for Defense Acquisition Services (DAS) as a contactor continuing his support of the warfighter. He also was a veteran of the United States Army. Theodore enjoyed fishing with his son and traveling with his wife of 39 years. He played softball with the Lancers Softball team and loved to watch Philadelphia team sports, especially the Eagles.

Theodore was predeceased by his parents, Theodore Chupein Jr. and Margaret (Casey) Chupein and his brother Robert Chupein. He is survived by his wife Joanne (Armato) Chupein; one son Theo Chupein and his girlfriend Samantha DeNoville of Brick; his brother John Chupein and his wife Dawn of Butte, MT; two sisters Joan Angle and her husband Derek of Manahawkin, NJ and Margaret Winder of Trabuco Canyon, CA; his sister-in-law Janet Marandino and her husband Gerald of Newfield, NJ; his brother-in-law John Armato and his wife Maria of Buena, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 15, 2016, from 4 - 8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 9 am at St. Dominic's RC Church, Brick followed by interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, donations in Theodore's name can be made to either the Brick Township Police/EMS, 401 Chambers Bridge Rd., Brick, NJ 08723 or a . Condolences can be sent to the family at
