AGE: 67 • Jackson

Thomas B. Dorrian, 67, of Jackson, NJ, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ, of Mantle Cell Lymphoma, due to exposure to Agent Orange during the Vietnam War.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Manalapan, NJ before moving to Jackson 13 years ago.

Thomas was a US Army Vietnam War Veteran, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantry Badge.

He was a printer for 38 years, retiring in 2005 from GHI in New York City.

Thomas was a life member of the Vietnam Veterans of America in Brooklyn, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Helen Dorrian and his brother, Eddie Dorrian in 2007.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margie (nee Pesce), three daughters and their husbands, Kathleen & Andrew Katz of Manalapan, NJ, Diana & Larry Pullen of Jackson, NJ and Teresa & Chris LaBau of Jackson, NJ, a brother Philip Dorrian of Wester, MA, a sister Mickey Kelly of Crosby, TX, 5 grandchildren Tommy, Tyler, Laura, Gianna, CharleeAnn and one on the way.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals DeBow Chapel, 150 West Veterans Hwy, Jackson, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday 9:30am at St. Aloysius RC Church, Jackson, NJ. Committal to follow at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent, NJ.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Thomas may be made to New Jersey Chapter, 14 Commerce Drive Suite 301, Cranford, NJ 07016.
