Thomas D. Seaman

Point Pleasant - Thomas D. Seaman, age 81, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Born in South Amboy, he lived in Point Pleasant for 49 years. Thomas worked as a Production Supervisor for American National Can Company before retiring in 1998. After he retired, he thoroughly enjoyed working for Roger's Pet Supply in Brick and made many friends. He proudly served our country in the United States Army, as a member of the Honor Guard in Washington DC.

Tom was a parishioner of the Church of St. Martha in Point Pleasant. He was a member of the Point Pleasant Beach Elks and the Bay Head Shore Fishing Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Tom was predeceased by his sister Janet Seaman and his brother-in-law Edward Sibol. He survived by his wife of 51 years, Molly (Donohue) Seaman; two daughters, Sarah Leahy and her husband E.J., and Mary Jane Schaeffer and her husband Eric, all of Point Pleasant; his brother Jack Seaman and his wife Barbara of Morgan, NJ; his sister Betty Sibol of South Amboy; his sister-in-law Sarah Donohue; his brother-in-law Martin and his wife Rose Donohue; 4 grandchildren Margaret and Sarah Leahy and Kathryn and Erica Schaeffer; and many nieces, nephews, and great friends and neighbors.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing on Sunday, March 11, 2018, from 2PM to 6PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11AM at St. Martha's RC Church, Pt. Pleasant. Donations in Tom's memory can be made to the .
