AGE: 33 • Barnegat

Thomas John Watson age 33 of Barnegat, died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at his home. TJ was born in Livingston and raised in Brick Township before moving to Barnegat in 2012.

He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend. TJ had a special way about him. He was always smiling and enjoyed doing things with family and friends. He was very outgoing and loved the time he spent with his cousins at the family reunions and other functions.

TJ was a giver and if you ever needed anything, he was there for you with what you needed. He was very smart and loved music and art of any kind.

He always had a smile for you.

He was previously employed at Tempaper and FedEx. TJ enjoyed spending time in his woodshop making various projects for his loved ones. He attended St. Dominic's grade school and Monsignor Donovan High School class of 2002. He was a member of St. Dominic's R.C. Church in Brick.

TJ is survived by his parents: John and Dawn Watson of Brick; two sisters: Rachel Frascella and her husband Anthony of Cream Ridge and Tara Kowalski and her husband Michael of East Brunswick. Also surviving are his Grandmothers: Patricia Watson of Whiting and Patricia Dygulski of Tinton Falls; his girlfriend Shannon Fischer and her daughter Kayla of Toms River; four nieces and nephews: Addison, Delaney, Reagan and Jaxon; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Viewing hours will be held on Monday, September 4, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Colonial Funeral home 2170 Hwy. 88 Brick. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday 10:00am at St. Dominic's R.C. Church in Brick. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lakewood. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Bobby Buecker Foundation: 45 Fairview Ave. Brick, NJ 08724.
