Thomas Joseph Reilly 87, of Brick, NJ passed away on July 24, 2017 at home. He was a parishioner of St. Dominic's R.C. Church. Tommy lived in Jersey City before moving to Brick Town over 58 years ago. He was born in Jersey City, NJ. His parents were Frances McCarthy Reilly and Timothy Joseph Reilly who was in the Army in WWI and an Officer in the Brennan Court House in Jersey City. He was also a Committeeman in Jersey City.

Thomas worked at Metro Glass in Jersey City, and for Owens of Illinois Lily Tulip in Holmdel, NJ until they closed down and then was employed at the Brick Board of Education. He was predeceased by his wife Margie (Margaret Mary) Reilly. They were married on September 11, 1954 during Hurricane Edna. They were married for 62 years. He was also predeceased by his sister Mary Scully and his beloved daughter, Meg (Margaret) Reilly Stanzione. He leaves behind his Sisters, Ann Reilly Nugent and Helen Reilly and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and 6 grandchildren Michael Stanzione and Fiancee Christine Grasso of Toms River, Nicole Stanzione-Thomas and her husband Christopher of Pennsylvania, Jennifer Riley of Colorado, Jeffrey Riley of Tennessee and Michael and Shannon Riley of Florida and 7 great-grandchildren, Gianna Nicole Stanzione, Vincent Grasso-Dias, Damian Christopher Thomas, and Jacob, Jordan, Jennifer and predeceased by Jaiden Riley. He also leaves behind his loving daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Ann Reilly and husband, Stanley F. Schick of Brick, New Jersey. His daughter Susan Riley and her husband Mitch Riley of Florida.

Thomas enjoyed traveling with his wife and daughter and watching Notre Dame Games.

The viewing is on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick, NJ and the Funeral Mass will be on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, 250 Old Squan Road, Brick, NJ 08724. Immediately following will be the Burial with his loving wife Margie (Margaret) Bragen Reilly at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.
