Vicki Lee Christensen, 31, of South Amboy, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York City. She was born in Long Branch, NJ and was raised in Union Beach. Vicki was a graduate of Keyport High School with high honors, she was also a member of the Honor Society & was very athletic, playing both softball and field hockey. She also played recreation softball in Union Beach for 12 years. She enjoyed helping others and had worked as a lifeguard for 3 years and participated in as an organizer and participant. Vicki loved the outdoors and whether it was soaking up the sun in Aruba and the Bahamas or skiing and snowboarding in the Pocono's. Outside is where she wanted to be. She had an infectious smile that could light up any room and everyone who came to know Vicki, truly was blessed with a special person in their life. Vicki possessed a great sense of humor & loved to make people laugh.

Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew her. She was predeceased by a stepfather, Robert Quinn. She leaves behind her mother Kathleen A. Quinn, her father and stepmother Robert W. and Donna "Tammi" Christensen, 4 sisters and a brother-in-law, Stephanie and Bill Parson, Kathleen Middlecoop, Lisa Graf, and Jillian Christensen, her godmother and aunt Kimberly Clemente, and her special fur baby, "Bear". She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ. The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 10am St. Clement Church, Matawan, followed by Entombment in Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, Marlboro.
