AGE: 95 • Lakewood

Virginia M Reilly, 95 of Lakewood passed away at Laurelton Village Assisted Living, Brick. Virginia was born in Newark and raised in South Orange. Virginia lived in Livingston for 18 years before moving to Brielle in 1968 and then to Ocean County in 2005. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Sorrows, South Orange, St. Philomena, Livingston, NJ. and St. Denis of Manasquan. She was a secretary for Burlington Industries, Newark and an executive secretary for Delpark Inc. of Newark and Manasquan. Virginia loved knitting, traveling and playing cards with her "Friday Nighters." She loved watching Notre Dame Football and was an avid Mets fan. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Virginia was predeceased by her husband of 32 years Robert J. Reilly in 1979 and two sisters Rita Harter and Julia Frank. She is survived by her sister Elizabeth and brother in law Frank Reilly of Manasquan three sons and their spouses Robert "Perry" and Mary Reilly of Toms River, John and Ellen Reilly of Collegeville, PA and James and Laurie Reilly of Point Pleasant, NJ; a daughter and her husband Virginia and Robert Cook of Point Pleasant, NJ. Virginia is also survived by 12 grandchildren Robert, Matthew, Katie, Sean, John, Jr., Keith, Alison, Julie, Patrick, JR, Darren, Caroline and 10 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to gather 9:30 am prior to a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday June 3, 2017 at St. Denis Church, Manasquan. Interment will follow at St. Catharine's Cemetery, Sea Girt. Memorial donations may be made to Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties 3300 NJ RT 66 Neptune City, NJ 07753.
