Virginia Tringola Obituary
Virginia Tringola

Oceanport - Virginia Tringola, 76, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 5, 2018.

Gina, as she was lovingly called, was the only child of James and Virginia Devlin. She was born in Bayonne, NJ. Her family moved to Monmouth Beach where she spent her very happy childhood. She went to Red Bank Catholic High School and was a graduate of Monmouth College.

Gina, along with her former husband Sal Tringola, was part of the Monmouth Beach Mart family business and the co-owner of Twelve Gate Horse Transportation. Gina spent the rest of her professional career at the Channel Club Marina in Monmouth Beach.

Gina was a true lady in every sense of the word. She was full of grace, class and admired by so many. Her strength of character and loving disposition were felt by all those she encountered. She lit up a room just by entering it and people would always comment on what a warm, loving, elegant, and gracious woman she was. She loved the sun and the beach and taking long walks around the neighborhood. The radiance of her smile was contagious and she always made people feel so welcomed and important. As a devout Catholic, Gina's life was a demonstration of her strong faith.

She is survived by her daughter Kim (Tringola) Dunleavy and her husband Brendan; her son, Mark Tringola and his wife Jenifer, and two grandchildren, Matthew and Shannon.

A celebration of her life will take place with a Memorial Mass at the Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach, on Wednesday December 12, 2018, at 11:00 AM.
