Dear Pat, Bill, Jr., Patti, Scott and families, I can only imagine how difficult it will be for you all to move on in life without the stalwart of love , wisdom, encouragement, generosity, godliness and humor that he brought to your family. He was an amazing man, who could never say no to anyone and helped more people than we can imagine. Bill had a way of making others feel good about themselves, a wonderfully treasured trait, that there is just not enough of in this world. He will be greatly missed by anyone who has had the privilege to spend time with him. You kids, did an exceptionally amazing job honoring his memory and I'm sure if he was here, he would humbly say, "who you talking about?", while treasuring your love and words in his heart. He truly had a heart of gold. I promise to pray for each of you, each time the Holy Spirit brings him to memory, and trust that the Lord will comfort you, all, supernaturally in a way only He can. Your husband was a wonderful man, and holds a special place in our family’s hearts. I have many fun memories with Bill’s contagious energy and huge smile, like the time he taught me how to surf! He was generous with everything that he had, and was so full of love. Heaven gained a special man. Dear Pat and Family,

Our heartfelt condolences and prayers in the loss of your husband and dad. Living next store to you for 35 years was just wonderful. My children loved the castles/homes from “the Man from Uncola”. He was always smiling. He shared his knowledge of growing vegetables and mating the corn. He shared his bountiful harvest with us. May your memories comfort you until you meet again in God’s Kingdom. We love you.

I only had the blessing of knowing Mr. Bill for the last year. He and Pat welcomed me into my new neighborhood. Mr. Bill was always the to help me with my bucket tomatos and advice for a begginer garden.
