William "Bill" Klein

William Klein "Bill", of Toms River, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Dec. 3, 2016. He lived most of his life in New Brunswick and Toms River. After graduating from Highland Park HS, Bill worked at Grand Union in East Paterson and later at Food Town in Toms River. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve as a staff Sergeant from 1956 to 1964. Bill enjoyed being Grill Master at family picnics, loved going on Cruises to the Caribbean with his wife and enjoyed boating and fishing. He was an avid fan of Nascar and thrilled to see Jimmy Johnson win this year and a dedicated Mets and Giants fan. Bill was known for his woodworking skill and made many wonderful projects in his personal shop.

He was predeceased by his parents William and Marie Klein. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Eileen Klein; sons Kevin Heller and daughter-in-law Donna and Robert Klein and partner Joan Baran; daughter Karen Malone and son-in-law Scott; and his cherished grandchildren Ryan, Sarah, Alyce, Keira, Amber and Cullen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Toms River. Contributions to the family may be at
