William W. Weil 78, of Wall, died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bayonne, NJ, William lived in Spring Lake before moving to Wall 42 years ago. William was a mechanical contractor in New York City for over 35 years working on numerous buildings including both Towers of World Trade Center. Bill was exceptionally proud of his affiliation with John Tischman. He was also proud of having designed the filtration system in the Long Library Cancer institute.

Bill was an entrepreneur and partner with his wife of several businesses at the shore including Travel Leaders. Definitely a lover of sports, Bill enjoyed golf and was a member of several clubs, including Indian Wells Country Club, Shore Oaks Country Club, Battleground Country Club, and Bamm Hollow Country Club. He loved volunteering for several years as a Marshal at the Bob Hope Classic in the desert and the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament in Indian Wells. Bill was a staunch fan and ticket holder of the NY Giants and the NY Mets.

William was predeceased by his parents Walter and Anna Weil, and his sister Doris. Surviving are his loving wife Peggy Weil, 5 children; Craig Weil and his wife Jeannie, William Weil and his wife Amanda, Dara, Christie Carlisle and her husband Richard and Tracy and her spouse Charles. He proudly loves six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Family, friends, travel, laughter, music, helping others and engineering were his greatest pleasures. Bill's warmth was exuded in his vivacious smile.

Visiting will be Wednesday, from 4-8 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, 7:30 PM. Committal will be private.
