AGE: 61 • Tinton Falls

Yvonne J. Reid, 61 of Tinton Falls, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. Born in Long Branch, she was raised in Shark River Hills and had lived in Wall Township for many years before moving to Tinton Falls 9 years ago. Yvonne worked as Activities Director for The Sycamore in Shrewsbury, where she was devoted to her residents. Known for her kind heart and generous spirit, she was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

Yvonne was a spiritual person with a very positive and upbeat outlook on life. She loved music, most especially Springsteen and The Beatles. While nature and the beach brought much joy to her heart, nothing made Yvonne happier than time spent with her family, most especially her cherished grandson Alex.

She was predeceased by her parents Robert G. and Daisy Lopez Reid, her brother David Reid and sister Mary Reid Chapman.

Surviving is her husband and longtime companion Kenneth J. "Pepper" Martin and his family; her son Greg Matarazzo, Jr. of Red Bank; her daughter Amanda & husband Justin Hanke and their son Alexander, all of Red Bank; her brother Steven Reid & wife Kim of Neptune City; sister Kim Volante & husband Thomas of Bradley Beach; sister Linda Siciliano of Tinton Falls; brother Robert G.
