Teresa Ann "Terry" Bass

Teresa Ann "Terry" Bass, 40, formerly of Middletown, tragically passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 in Waldorf, MD. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Staten Island and Middletown before moving to Waldorf. Terry worked as a nurse for Genesis Health Care in Maryland. While she lived in Middletown she worked as a nurse at the Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Holmdel. Terry was a very active person and lived a healthy lifestyle, she loved to workout at the gym, to ride her bike, and to walk her dogs. She had a lot of long standing friends that loved her very deeply. She had a way with people that made them feel as if they were her very best friend. Terry's life was centered on her children, she was a wonderful mother and would not hesitate to make any sacrifices for them. Terry was best known for her sense of humor and her unique laugh.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry Lee Bass; her children, Sebastian, Serena, Micaela, and Alani; her father, Cesareo Mendez; her sister and brother-in-law, Diana and William Davis, and her children, Michael and Heather Jimenez; her brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Rosemarie Mendez, and their children, Samantha, Isaiah, and Sabrina; and by her grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Teresa was preceded in death by mother, Maria Mendez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 12 at 10 am at the funeral home. Visitors are asked to arrive between 9 and 9:30 am. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
