AGE: 82 • Jackson Twp.
Michael Joseph Behan, 82, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold, Twp., NJ. Born in New York City, NY, he resided in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, before moving to Jackson 8 years ago.
Mr. Behan was employed as a CPA by Arthur Andersen, New York City, NY, before his retirement. Concurrently he worked for Behan, Ling and Ruta. Prior to that, he was a professor at Fordham University.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Michael and Delia Behan; and his Sister, Mary Ann. Michael is survived by his Wife of 54 years, Theresa (Hasson) Behan; his Sons, James Behan of Carrollton, TX, Michael Behan and his Wife, Jane of Edison, NJ, and Kevin Behan and his Wife, Doreen of Secaucus, NJ; his Daughter, Anne Marie Merry and her Husband, Chris of Midlothian, VA; and his 5 Grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Aidan, Emily, and Patrick.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 AM on Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. Entombment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, or to St. Aloysius School, PO Box 1285, Jackson, NJ 08527. Dear Teri & Family: I am so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I have known him for a number of years from working at BLR. He was a very nice man and I am sure that he will be missed deeply.

Dear Mrs. Behan,
I'm sorry to hear about Mr. Mike Behan's passing, I have been currently working at BLR for the past 7 years and had the pleasure knowing him as he so oftened dropped by the office before his eye appointments just to say, hello. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
