Frederick M. Solleder, 89, of Belford, NJ, died on April 15, 2015 in Red Bank. He was born in Hoboken. Frederick worked as a butcher for Foodtown Supermarkets, mostly in Red Bank, until retiring in 1990. He then drove a school bus for Murphy's Bus Co. for many years, retiring when he was 75. Fred was a communicant of St Mary's New Monmouth and a member of the Holy Name Society and Mater Dei Booster Club. He was also a member of VFW Post 2179 in Port Monmouth.

Surviving are his two sons & daughters-in-law, Michael and Donna Solleder of Wynnewood, PA, and Bill and Suzanne Solleder of Ramsey; three daughters & sons-in-law, Patty and Gene Boyle of Howell, Beth and Bill Brister of Rumson, and Linda and Kelly Dempsey of Highlands; two sisters, Madeline DiRienzo and Maureen Sieteski both of NY; 9 grandchildren, Fred, Erin, Ryan, Lauren, Kyle, Josh, Priscilla, Matthew, and Elizabeth; and 2 great grandchildren, Griffin and Donovan.

Frederick was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Solleder in 1989, and a son, Frederick Solleder in 2004.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015, from 6 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 8 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9:15 am at St Mary's Chapel, 26 Leonardville Rd., New Monmouth.
