Thanks to my father, a member of the governing body in Manchester Township, and former mayor, decades ago, it was my pleasure to meet and get to know Senator Connors and his lovely wife.
From a distance, over the years, I watched the senator not only work tirelessly for folks in his town, but for the people in New Jersey.
A gentleman, who set a standard in elected office, that too many can't even think about, Senator Leonard T. Connors, faithfully work for us all.
To his family, I offer a prayer that they find the strength to cope with the bitterness of loss and the path to the sweetness of fond memories, that I know will results many times in laughter.
God bless len, and his family
