AGE: 62 • Tinton Falls
Gayle L. Miller was born on November 25, 1954 and transitioned into her eternal life on Sunday, October 8, 2017.
She is predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and husband Jacob R. Miller Jr., grandmother, Beulah Williams, and step father Gus O'Brien.
Gayle leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life two daughters; Stacey R. Miller-Weedon (David), Torrey L. Miller, mother Louise W. O'Brien, sister Lenyse Shomo (Harold), and sister Rev. Dr. Pamela O'Brien. Her special grandchildren Jada L. Weedon and Jacob R. Miller. God Daughter and name sake Gayle L. Spence (Larry), Godson James R. Harris. Bonus daughter, Lakeda Demery (Derek), bonus grandchildren Zaire Alston and Morgan Bray. Her loving Aunt Maureen Davis Price, and Uncle Joseph "Sunny" Williams. Her favorite cousins Craig Davis, Toni Baptiste (Richard), Keith Williams (Gail), and Judy Schimpf (Chaz). Nieces and nephews, Jared Shomo, Corey Shomo, Korron Whitworth, William Griffin Jr., Tyshawa Lewis Reeves, Talisha Hundley, Keith Miller Jr., Kelly Moore Jr., Casey Carte, Jason Moore, Michael Seward (deceased), Anthony Seward, Ryan Davis Baptiste, Eric Harris, and Tiffany Harris.
Affectionately known as "her girls", she will be dearly missed by Keisha, Yvonne, Joy, Ronica, Janiene, Linda, Danita, Swancy, Candy, Sonya and her Sunshine Family.
Her circle of support, Richard Simms, Clara Miller, Vivian Moore, Cynthia Weedon, Shelly Watson, Darlene Carter, Kevin Dunbar, Ann Diaz, Pam O'Neil, Keith Miller, and William "Bill" Hardy. Gayle will be deeply missed by her lifelong sister-friend of over 50 years Laura Harris, her birthday twin Michael T., and a host of special friends, and family.
A Memorial Service will be held at Ely Funeral Home on Monday, October 16, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Condolences may also be offered online at www.elyfuneralhome.com.

Dear Louise , you are in my prayers. I met Gayle in 1980. She was the Asst. Dir. of the census. Her gentle but firm spirit saw to employment was available for all who was seeking work. Her acts of kindness will always remain in my heart. When all is said and done, may you find your self rejoicing in God's bountiful blessings of His eternal love thru your beloved daughter.
