Lois O'Neill
Middletown - Lois O'Neill, 86, of Middletown, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on December 30, 2017. She was born in Newark, NJ and lived in Middletown for over 20 years. Lois worked at Anheuser- Bush for many years and later became a member of their retirement club. After her retirement she went back to work as a secretary for Hillside Board of Education, a job she enjoyed for over 25 years. She was a faithful and active parishioner of St. Mary's Church in New Monmouth. She was also a member of the Middletown Senior Center. Lois especially enjoyed this past year residing at Arbor Terrace in Middletown.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kimberly O'Neill; of Middletown, NJ; daughters and son-in-law, Sharon and John Silva, and Karen O'Neill; Grandchildren, Kaitlin and Shane O'Neill, and Christian and Alana Silva. Also surviving are the many friends Lois met through her various activities.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Henry O'Neill in 2005.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from 4-7 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Middletown.
