Laura J. Iozzia
Brick - Laura Jean Iozzia, 59 of Brick, formerly of Hackensack and Lodi, NJ, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 after a long fought battle with several illnesses.
Laura was predeceased by her mother, Angela Iozzia, and is survived by her father Ferdinando Iozzia, sisters Janine Santaita and Gioia Ackerman, nieces and nephews Amy Ackerman Ruch, Amanda and Robert Barton, Michael Santaita, Anthony Santaita and his fiancé Sara Brown, great nephews and nieces Bryan, Jacob, Salvatore, Owen, Anna, Olivia, and Jase, and her beloved cat, Frankie.
Laura will be remembered for her infectious smile, sense of humor and ability to make friends and "family" everywhere she went. She will be greatly missed by many.
In lieu of flower donations can be made to the Sarcoidosis/American Lung Association.
Visiting will be Thursday 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 11:00am at Church of the Visitation RC Church, Brick, NJ.
Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park. www.silvertonmemorial.com.
