Aiko Fukushima Compton Obituary

Aiko Fukushima Compton passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Aiko was born in Sendai, Japan.

Aiko is survived by her loving daughter Roberta June Compton Kalfsbeek; cherished granddaughter Samantha Gabrielle Kalfsbeek; cherished grandson Oscar Marvin Thomas Kalfsbeek; brother Katsuo Fukushima, sister-in-law, Mineko Fukushima; nieces Yukari and Hiromi Fukushima.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Compton Jr.; her father Kozyurou Fukushima and her mother Yoshi Yokoyama Fukushima .

Aiko was the most sweetest, kind, caring, and loving woman the world will ever meet. She was an entrepreneur with the businesses she had with her husband in Monterey and Sutter County.

Aiko graduated with a degree in Business Administration at Monterey Peninsula College. She taught the Japanese language while her husband was in active duty with the 5th Special Forces Group in Okinawa, Japan. She was the monarch of the family, always there to encourage and comfort her daughter and grandchildren. Aiko Fukushima Compton has touched many people and will be deeply missed.

As quoted by Al Carrion, " Heaven has been rewarded with a gentle and kind soul."

Memorial services will be held at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church on August 12 at 11 am.
