Alan Wayne Durbin, age 75, of Sutter, was called home to the Lord on May 4th, 2021. He was born on April 10th, 1946, in Marysville, California to James Edmond Durbin and Maurine (Arnold) Durbin. Al resided in the Yuba-Sutter area nearly all his life.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 14th, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Sutter Cemetery. ~Services are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.

Amy,
Deb and I just learned of Al´s passing. We are very sorry and deeply regret your loss. We have many wonderful memories of your parents from our years in Yuba City
and will never forget your father´s strong spirit. He loved sharing the word of God and was a true friend to Deb´s father Rev. Duane Trulin. I recall that your father was a collector of Bible commentary books and gifted such a book to Deb a few years ago, we cherish that volume. Again, we deeply regret this loss and offer our prayers of support for you.

Dearest Amy,
Our hearts break for you, you have been through much in a short time. This was a beautiful tribute to your father (and mother), bringing out the many facets of a talented man well loved. You have made both parents so proud, you stepped in and honored them in difficult circumstances. I know your father is at peace, and our comfort is knowing we shall be together again. I am proud of you Amy, you are definitely the best of both your parents. Letter to follow, love you, always. Remember Jesus loves you. Curt and Terri Waters ❤❤❤
