Alice Andreason Obituary
Alice Andreason, 88, died peacefully at home on November 26, 2013.

Born in Winnipeg, Canada, she was a lifelong Yuba-Sutter resident, a graduate of Notre Dame High School and CSU San Jose. Later she acquired a teaching credential from CSU Chico and taught at Brittan School in Sutter for twenty years.

She served as a member of the Sutter County Planning Commission as well as being a charter member of the Sutter County Library Advisory Committee and the Fremont Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Isadore's Catholic Church, the American Association of University Women, Delta Kappa Gamma, Notre Dame Alumnae, Mercy Guild and Gamma Chapter Alpha Sigma.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, F.W. Andreason, and is survived by two sisters Gloria Booth of Marysville and Sr. Barbara Hanagan of Belmont, two daughters Christine Harbert of Oakland and Gail Madsen of Yuba City and one grandchild.

A private family memorial service was held in her loving memory under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Isadore School.
