Angeline Caroline Ferraiuolo Obituary

Angeline Caroline Ferraiuolo passed peacefully to her eternal life on Monday, October 30, 2017, in Redding, California.

She was born in San Jose, California, on May 22, 1924, to hard-working Italian immigrants Paolo and Liberata Romano, the oldest of four daughters.

Married to her partner in life, Jerdo, for 51 years, she was a loving mother to Paul and Sue Ferraiuolo, Jilda and Bob Armstrong, and Julius and Paula Ferraiuolo. Combined, they blessed her with 5 grandchildren: Steve, Aimee, Brian, Max, Chloe and 7 great-grandchildren.

Angie was known for her "can do" attitude and if you wanted or needed something done, she was your person. A talented quilter and craftsman, many family members and friends were the recipients of her beautiful creations.

Her kind and caring ways endeared her to everyone she met in each community she lived in and every church she attended. A devout Catholic, she was active in the Colusa Catholic Ladies Relief Society and faithfully attended Our Lady of Lourdes church there. After moving to Forest Ranch, California, she attended the church of Our Divine Savior and, after moving to Redding, California became an active member of Our Lady of Mercy Parrish.

Her organization skills greatly contributed to the founding and implementation of the now world renowned Colusa Orchard Equipment Show. As member of the Forest Ranch community, she was instrumental in the purchase of the old abandoned schoolhouse there. She and Jerdo worked tirelessly with other members to successfully transform it into a Community Center for everyone to enjoy in friendship and fellowship.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerdo, and sisters Caroyn Baird and Pauline Romano. She is survived by sister Beatrice Ferraro and leaves behind her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and their families to reflect on the values she taught and practiced, her kindness and willingness to nurture them, and to pass on to others her legacy of love and appreciation for everything life has to offer.

Special thanks to the amazing staff at the Vistas Assisted Living Facility for the tender, excellent care they gave to her. She loved you all.

Her family requests that those who have known Angie keep in your heart her memory and her favorite expression "It's all good!"

A Rosary will be recited at 12:30pm, Monday, November 6, 2017, with a funeral Mass at 1:00pm, both to be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 4th and Jay Street Colusa, CA. Burial services will follow at the Holy Cross cemetery.
