Beatriz Lopez Pantoja Obituary

Beatriz Lopez Pantoja passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 9, 2014. She was a longtime Sutter County resident for more than 48 years.

She was born on September 2, 1944 in Moroleon, Guanajuato, Mexico. Beatriz was a daughter of a family that consisted of ten daughters and one son of Jesus and Maria Lopez.

Beatriz married Pedro Pantoja on January 22, 1966. They have three children: Jaime (James), Jorge and Pedro (Pete) Jr. She was later blessed with three grandchildren: Antonio, Diego and Demarco.

She was the founder and president of the Spanish Golden Girls' Club that she actively participated in and enjoyed. Beatriz also enjoyed going to Colusa Casino. She claimed it was therapeutic. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends. She was and forever will be the heart and soul of her family. May God bless her and may she forever rest in peace.

Beatriz was preceded in death by her parents and sister Lupe Lopez.

All who shared Beatriz's life are invited to attend memorial services at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City, CA 95991 on Wednesday, December 17th, 2014. There will be a viewing between 4-6 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m.

A Mass of Catholic Service will be held at St. Isidore's Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18th, 2014. The interment will be private.
