Bernard (Benn) Pasquini Obituary
Bernard (Benn) Pasquini
Bernard (Benn) Pasquini, a devoted brother, son and cousin, passed away peacefully at his home on May 23, 2017. Benn was born on July 1, 1940 to Reda and Addenaco (Dan) Pasquini in Sutter County, California. He grew up in Live Oak, California working in the family store and gas station while attending local schools.

Benn attended the University of Oregon, in Eugene, where he studied Interior Design. He returned to California to pursue his epicurean passions. He spent many years in San Francisco, honing his culinary skills before returning home in 1971 to open B Pasquini's Bar and Restaurant in Lomo, California. He was proud to bring great Italian food to our community, so much so that he even traveled to Italy to train under the famous Italian cookbook author, Marcella Hazan.

He went to open several restaurants locally, including Addenaco's, Rio Grill, Pasta Bene and Bene Ristorante. Besides his culinary pursuits, Benn enjoyed interior design, gardening and entertaining, and he loved telling stories of his travels and the good times he had with family and friends. He also enjoyed helping others, whether it be through his experience as a restaurateur or through his eye for interior design.

Benn is survived by his sister Fran Sullivan of Bandera, Texas and several cousins and relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan, his mother, Reda, his sister, Donna and his dear friend Sam Hubbard. Though Sam passed away many years ago, Benn often spoke fondly of him and the time they spent together.

A Rosary will be held at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, June 6, 2017 at 6 pm, interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please donate or contribute to a .
