Carl Roy Brumley Jr. Obituary

Carl Roy Brumley Jr., age 58, from Yuba City, CA, went home to his final fishing spot in heaven on December 15, 2014, following his battle with lung disease and lung cancer. His loving wife Cindy and his children were by his side in his final hours.

He leaves behind his wife Cindy Brumley; his daughters, Lisa Goodnight, Kristin Cooper, Maxcina Brumley, Melissa Brumley; a son Joseph LeMire and their spouses; his sister Diane Dudley; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two nephews.

Born and raised in Aberdeen, WA, he lived the last 28 years making Northern California his home. From the woods of Washington to the valleys of Northern California, Roy brought a rugged exterior of a timber faller with the interior of a gentle husband, loving father, respected grandfather and cherished friend.

He had a passion for hot rods, fishing, hunting, NASCAR and football "Go Seahawks." He loved to go to the old mining towns, Disneyland with the kids, fishing, hunting and camping. He always took time to sit on the floor stacking blocks, making trains, or talking like the characters with his grandchildren. He loved hunting and always wanted to return to Washington some day, but now he's in the best hunting and fishing place in heaven. He will be dearly missed until we meet again.

Viewing will be December 22, 2104 from 10:00 am until the service at 1:00 pm at Lakeside Colonial Chapel, 830 D Street, Marysville. Graveside services will follow at Sutter Cemetery.
