Edith Irene Tringali Obituary
Edith Irene Tringali (Edie), 49, of Yuba City, CA passed away on January 13, 2014. She was born September 4, 1964 in Oak Park, ILL.

She was loved dearly by all who were lucky enough to know her. Edie devoted her life to her children, partner, and the many people she came into contact with at the Home & Garden Shows and Bridal Shows in the surrounding communities. Edie never missed an opportunity to help out when she saw the need to do so. If she saw a friend in need, she was always the first to step up to the plate, it didn't even need to be a friend. This past Christmas, she heard of a family who was not able to have Christmas, she ran right out the day before Christmas Eve and made sure the family would have everything they needed to celebrate.

She prided herself on being a stay at home Mom, which provided her the opportunity to attend all her sons sports events, which would take an act of Congress for her to miss. She was eager to volunteer and help out in any way needed for her sons sports organizations. Family meant everything to her and she enjoyed watching her Grandchildren grow and the frequent family get togethers.

Edie contributed to the start up and continuing work of the Yuba City Seventh Day Adventist Church food locker for the underprivileged in the community.

She is survived by a daughter Erica Land (Thomas Land) of Yuba City; son Jordan Tringali of Yuba City; partner Christopher Michael Cook & son Christopher Michael Cook Jr. of Yuba City; her mother, Edith Irene McLennan, of Olivehurst; 2 sisters, Susan Smith (Kenneth Smith) of Yuba City & Dianna Copen of Olivehurst; 4 nieces and 3 nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, 4 grandchildren and several God children.

Preceded in death by her Father Herschel T. Millikan & Husband Peter Tringali.

Memorial Services will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Richland Rd. in Y.C. on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at 10:00 AM.

Any donations should be made to the or the Yuba City Seventh Day Adventist Church.
