Ernest LeRoy Dorris Obituary

Ernest LeRoy Dorris lost his fight with heart problems and passed away on May 6, 2017. He was the son of Edward and Marie Dorris, born on September 20, 1936.

Ernie served 9 years in the U.S. Air Force, receiving various medals of honor. Later in his life, he worked as a logger, construction worker and retired from CalTrans after serving 30 years!

Ernie loved being involved with the grandkids and their school and sports events. He loved hunting, fishing, restoring old cars, and going on Jeep runs. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Patricia, his children, Steve, Doug, and Loni and granddaughter/ daughter, Mariah; grandchildren, Sarah, Amber, Desiree, Kyle, James, Dylan, and Tiana; sister, Darlene and brother, Edward and his wife Donna, and sisters-in-law, Jennie and Violet.
