Hildegard Charlotte Evans Obituary

Hildegard Charlotte Evans, born on November 3, 1922 to Willie and Rosalie Haberer Busch in Washita County, Oklahoma.

Hildegard graduated from Independence High School in 1941, Custer County as Salutatorian of her class. She was awarded trophy for Outstanding 4-H Club Girl in Custer County in 1940. She also held the State Speed-Typing Championship for over 20 years.

She married James Evans in 1941 and moved to California near Marysville in Hallwood District. Worked in Yuba County Hospital for twelve years until closure on December 13, 1974.

Hildegard is preceded in death by her husband James of 57 years, sister Clara Borneman of Oklahoma, brothers; Wilbert Busch of Texas and Aldean Busch of Oklahoma.

Survivors include her daughters; Rosella Paslay of Brownsville and Carol Hochstrasser of Kremmling, Colorado, brother, Leon Busch of Oklahoma, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Monday, January 5, 2015 at Lakeside Colonial Chapel in Marysville from 4-8 PM.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday January 6, 2015 at 11 AM at Crossroads Community Church, 445 B St., in Yuba City. Burial to follow at Sutter Cemetery.
