Howard E. Kaser Obituary

Howard E. Kaser, 89 of Wheatland, California passed away on March 3, 2018, at Mather Hospital in Sacramento, Ca.

Howard is survived by 3 children, Amy (Bill) Edick of Live Oak, Ca, Scott (Barbara) Kaser of Wheatland, Ca. and Michelle (Don) Miller of Beaverton, OR; 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer, Robyn, Bryan, Christopher and Holly; and 5 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Chloey, Anthony, Annabeth and Hazel.

Howard is preceded in death by two wives, Leona Lura and Mary Elizabeth; his
mother, Nadean, brothers, Sam and Max; and his sister, Zoe.

Howard is truly one of "The Greatest Generation". He served in the Navy during WWII, and in the Army 7th Calvary-Company K during the Korean Conflict, and received both a Bronze Star for Valor and a Silver Star for killing a T34 Tank of
North Korea.

After the war, he worked as a Parts-Service Tech in the Automobile Industry and crossed the country finally ending up in Escondido, Ca., then Browns Valley and Wheatland, Ca. He was a hard working man who enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. He had many hobbies, including golf, bowling, square dancing and gentleman Farming.

The family will hold a celebration of life at the Ranch House Restaurant, 111 S. George Washington Blvd. in Yuba City on Thursday, March 8th, 2018, at 5:00 pm.
