Ildefonso L. Velasquez, 87, of Live Oak, CA, passed away on March 14, 2015. Born on January 23, 1928 in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico. He was a resident of the Yuba-Sutter area for 60 years and worked as a farm laborer. He was involved in Ben Ali Shiners, Concilio Mexicano Club, Guadalupano de Live Oak, Gridley, Masonic Lodge #230, and Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his wife Trinidad Z. Velasquez, daughter Tomi Villanueva of Live Oak, CA, daughter Hilda Ramirez (Gerardo) of Live Oak, CA, son Juan Velasquez of Yuba City, CA, daughter Virginia Velasquez of Biggs, CA, daughter Lydia Velasquez of Live Oak, CA, son, Jesus Velasquez of San Antonio, TX, son Natividad Velasquez (Inez) of Albuquerque, NM, 28 grandchildren, 42 plus 1 on the way great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his sister Antonia, his brother Silverio, his parents, brothers Tereso and Antonio.

There will be a viewing held at the Chapel of the Twin Cities, 715 Shasta Street, YC on Thursday March 19, 2015 from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be Friday March 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m located at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Live Oak, CA 95953. Burial services will be at Live Oak Cemetery.
