James (Jim) Robert Pendergraft passed away on April 7, 2016 with his family surrounding him. Jim was born in the small town of French Camp, CA on July 7, 1945 and spent his childhood involved in FFA and working in the fields. He started his 50 year career as a heavy equipment mechanic and later moved into sales, service, and management in the logging industry.

Jim was a well-respected and influential man in both his business and family life. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. Jim loved to fish, spend time at the lake, and was an avid racecar fan. Many family trips were spent either on the water or at the racetrack.

Jim is survived by his wife, Patty Pendergraft of Meridian, CA; daughters and son-in-laws, Tracy and Dave Byrd of French Camp, CA and Jody and Ben Deal of Marysville, CA; grandchildren Geoff and Juliana Shaw, Brandon Shaw, and Aly Byrd; great-grandchild Krystie Shaw, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, and his faithful partner in crime Peanut. He is preceded in death by his parents Gene and Thelma Pendergraft.

Services will be conducted at Ullrey Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 10:00AM. A reception will be held in Meridian following the services.

Service: Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 10:00am at Ullrey Memorial, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City.
