Judith Ann Morgan Obituary

Judith Ann Morgan was born June 2, 1954 to Roy and Joyce Ahner in Sebastopol, CA. She passed away, surrounded by loving family and friends on April 8, 2017 at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, CA from complications arising from ALS. She was diagnosed with ALS in January 2016.

Judy grew up in Morgan Hill, CA until her family moved to Browns Valley, CA when she started high school. In high school, she met Patty Anderson and they became lifelong friends, eventually marrying brothers.

She was married to Leonard Hubert Nix on May 26, 1973 and they had six children. Nick,

Ernest, Mandy, Travis, Abigail and Andrea.

She was married to John Morgan on August 8, 2008. They were best friends and partners for 16 years. Together they traveled the world and lived life to the fullest in loving companionship. John preceded her in death by just 13 days as he passed away on March 26, 2017.

Judy was also preceded in death by her mother Joyce Ahner. She leaves behind her father Roy Ahner, brothers Leroy and Larry Ahner, sister Loretta Ahner, son Nick Nix, of Yuba City, son Ernest Nix and daughter-in-law Katie Felton, of Kemah, TX, daughter Mandy Nix, of Yuba City, son Travis Nix of Yuba City, daughter Abigail Schwellenbach, son-in-law Blake Schwellenbach of Waco, TX, daughter Andrea Kelly, son-in-law Blake Kelly of Yuba City and 13 beloved grandchildren.

Judy loved life and approached hers enthusiastically with sharp wit and a great sense of humor. She was a talented and amazing seamstress and had a passion for reading, music, card games, movies and spending time with those who she loved. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends but lives on in her children and grandchildren.

Any who knew her is welcome to attend her funeral which will be held at the LDS church located at 1470 Butte House Rd., Yuba City, on April 11, 2017 at 4:00 pm.
