Judy Quichocho Salas Obituary

On December 10, 2015, Judy Quichocho Salas went to meet her Lord in heaven. Judy was born on October 20, 1948 in Sinajuana, Guam, the third of eight children to Vicente Talavera Quichocho and Ana Taison Quichocho.

She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School, Guam in 1966. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Park College, Missouri. Formerly from Barrigada, Guam, Judy has been a Yuba City resident since 1984.

Judy retired from the Federal Government after 45 years of dedicated service. During her retirement years, Judy owned her own antique business called "Judy's Tablescapes". She enjoyed traveling, antiquing, decorating and spending time with her five grandchildren.

Judy's love for life was visible in her love for entertainment, music, dancing and live shows. Her spirit and energy was infectious to those around her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Vicente and Ana Quichocho. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Angel Salas, her three children Debra, Nicole and Kenney, as well as, her seven siblings and grandchildren Ceasar, Aspen, Alexa, Alysa and Katana.

Her love, spirit and energy will be missed by all those who knew her.

Rosary will be recited Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:00 am, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am at St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Yuba City. Burial will be private at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, CA. Arrangements under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
