Kenneth Lee Stewart Obituary

Kenneth Lee Stewart lost his life suddenly on January 23, 2018. He was born September 14, 1953 in Gridley and has been a Yuba-Sutter resident most of his life.

Ken loved the outdoors. He played baseball, football and wrestled for YCHS until he graduated in 1971.

He started working at OMC at the early age of 18, then in 1994 he left to work for Orchard Rite, out of the Fresno area, before returning back to Yuba City and working for OMC once again. Almonds, walnuts and pecans were his life and all the farmers were his friends. "Bully" knew them all, from Bakersfield to Chico, and they knew him, the salesman with the pink donut boxes.

On his time off he loved to hunt, fish and play golf. He was a die hard Giants fan, Nascar, football or hockey, anything sports, Ken loved. If you knew Ken (Bully) he just loved life. The first with a joke and that smile. He had a huge heart.

He is survived by his wife Patti; son Doug; mother Betty Byerrum; brother Greg; sister Kathy Gasser; stepkids Jackie and Tony Hiseley; nieces, nephews and extended family members.

At his request there will be no services, instead an Open House to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 12pm-4pm at 1898 White Oak Dr., Yuba City. All are invited to come and tell a "Bully" story.
