Marjorie Ann Simeroth Obituary
Marjorie Ann Simeroth, age 80 of Olivehurst, passed away May 9, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Marjorie was born December 31, 1933 in Hounslow West, England.

Marjorie was a homemaker until 1972 when she went to work for the Marysville Joint Unified School District. She received peace officer training, was deputized, and became the campus security officer at Marysville High School. When Lindhurst High School was completed, Marjorie transferred there and retired in 1997 with 25 years of service.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Loyd; daughters, Linda Hodges of Olivehurst, Lawanda Jeremiah of Marysville, Ladonna Golden of Yuba City; sons, Robert of Olivehurst, Kenneth of Grover Beach, and Emmil of Yuba City, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her father, Henry Robert Pusey and her mother, Florence Emily Kisby.

Her early years were spent around London, but during World War II, she and her two youngest brothers were sent to the country to live. They soon ran away back to London where at an early age, she helped give aide to the injured in the bomb shelters.

Marjorie enjoyed time with her family and traveling back to England and Australia to visit family. She was involved in scouting, little league, and various church activities.

Services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville on Monday the 19th of May, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Following will be a gravesite service at Sierra View Memorial Park and then a "Celebration of Life" reception at St. Joseph's Parish Hall.
