Nola Jean (Nanny) Snow passed away suddenly on April 7, 2015. She was born on March 24, 1942 in San Francisco, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Peggy Smith. She is survived by her only daughter, Debbra (William) Springsteen of Browns Valley; her granddaughter, Amy Mills of Sacramento; and grandson, Mike Mills of Marysville. She is also survived by one great-granddaughter, Audrey Mills of New York.

Nanny's passion in life was helping neglected animals. She has volunteered countless hours to Yuba County Animal Services. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at the Yuba County Animal Services building on Feather River Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests monetary contributions to Yuba County Animal Services. Pet toys and fleece blankets would also be greatly appreciated. For questions, call Debbie at 530-701-0245.
