Norene Laverne Heryford Obituary
Sept. 30, 1916 - March 16, 2014

Norene (Hageman) Heryford 97, died peacefully at her home in Smartsville, CA, on March 16, 2014, with her son Bob, daughter- in-law Dianne and granddaughter Jill by her side.

She was born September 30, 1916 at her family home on Butte House Road in Tierra Buena to Andrew and Anna (Burghardt) Hageman. She lived in Tierra Buena all her life and raised her four children there. She and all four of her children and most of her grandchildren graduated from Tierra Buena Elementary School. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville and St. Isidore's Church in Yuba City. She graduated from Norte Dame High School in Marysville. She moved to Smartsville when she turned 90 years old to live with her son Bob and daughter-in-law Dianne.

She is survived by her weanie dog companion, "Precious"; children Bob Heryford (Dianne) of Smartsville, Shirley Perkins (David) of Yuba City, Ralph Heryford (Sandy) of Tierra Buena and Barbara Fasse (Chuck) of Colorado; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Heryford, sisters Catherine Flaherty, Marie Hageman, Helen Cunningham, and her brothers, George Hageman and Leo Hageman.

She was the greatest grandmother ever.

Graveside services are being held Friday, April 4, 2014 at 11:00 am at Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements by Lakeside Colonial Chapel, Marysville, CA.
