She also lost her beloved sons-in-laws, V.G. "Gar" Ogletree, Wallace McClain, Blaine Riano; and her first born grandson, Dennis G. Ogletree.

Ruth was born Ola Ruth Raley in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on March 27, 1918 and married Orbie Day Hoselton on October 22, 1935. They moved to California in 1936, settled and raised their three daughters in Lindsay and Yuba City, California. In 1987, Ruth and Orbie retired and enjoyed many years together in the Mendocino coastal town of Fort Bragg, California. Ruth often referred to it as their "Little Slice of Heaven". In her later years, Ruth returned to Yuba City to be near her family.

Ruth worked many years in Ladies Apparel. She and Orbie enjoyed cruising, traveling abroad, vacations that included horseback riding and big family gatherings. Ruth loved the Lord with all of heart. She felt privileged to spend many hours knitting, crocheting, sewing and helping with church events to raise money for those in need.

Ruth will be laid to rest next to her beloved Orbie at Rose Memorial Park in Fort Bragg, California. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.

The family wishes to thank Sutter North Hospice and the loving staff of Emerald Oaks Assisted Living for their steadfast devotion and aid to Ruth, with a very special thanks to Rita Hammill.

In honor of Ruth's passing, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, you consider a kindness to another, a helping gesture to someone in need or a donation to Sutter North Hospice. God Bless.
